I can hardly believe this time next week I will be somewhere near Korea on the first leg of my journey. My bags are pretty much packed but every time I turn around, I think of something else. Then I have to re-weigh to make sure I haven't gone over the weight limit. It is amazing how little it takes to add up to 50 pounds.
Michael, Stephanie and Kali spent the last two weeks with us and Brian and Michelle came for Thanksgiving. I am so thankful we were able to spend time together before I leave. Kali is growing up so fast, it is hard to believe she will be three in January. It was such a joy to have a little one around for a while.
I asked Joseph if the kids are getting excited about me coming and he said Makaila says she is "crazy excited". Joshua told him that his English teacher said Merry Christmas the other day, so that means it is time for Nai Nai to come. He said the kids have so much planned he is not sure how we will fit it all in :) ! I know it will be a wonderful time with them and I am so excited.
My Sunday School class contributed items to take to the disabled women's home for mini makeovers. They amazed me with their generosity and I can't wait to see the joy and excitement on their faces as we lavish them with not only makeovers, but with the love of Jesus. Several ladies in my class have expressed a desire to go on a mission trip to Thailand. So, be in prayer that God would lead and open doors to plan a trip in the near future.
I have my camera and Gopro ready to record Bible distribution as well as visits to the children's home and the slums. I can hardly wait to share those experiences with you all through pictures and words. Pray that I will be aware of the Spirit's leading and to have the boldness to do what He leads me to do. Also for safety and protection from illness. And to remember not to drink the water!
Thank you all for your encouragement and prayer support as my journey draws closer. I will keep you updated as time and Internet access allows. God bless you all.
In His love,
Pam
