It seems like yesterday my boys were dressing up, playing cops and robbers or army. Now look at Joseph in his uniform! No, he doesn't have all the badges or paraphernalia yet, but this is not dress up anymore, this is the real deal! Not only that, look at Sai! I can't believe it's only a little over three months till the baby comes. Joseph is doing well at the academy, passing all of his tests with flying colors. I reminded him he could have done that in college if he had wanted to, but the difference was, he didn't really want to. Now he does, and has to because he has a family to take care of. Before I blink, he will have his weapons and car and be on the road, and I'll be at home helping with little Makaila. That's one positive way to look at it!
Brian and Michael are doing well. There are just two weeks left in the regular baseball season, and then the playoffs. His team is still doing well, and I believe they have a chance to win the division, if they will stay focused.

As you can see, we took a road trip to Chattanooga. It was a great day for baseball, but unfortunately, the boys didn't think so and didn't play to their potential (5 errors!) and lost. Brian didn't have any errors, but was very frustrated with his teammates performance! Hopefully they're back on track, they won 2/3 this past weekend. I'll be going to
Barnesville for the upcoming games, the last ones at home. But not to worry, because when college ball is over, Brian will be coming home for the summer and is already scheduled to begin American Legion ball the middle of May! It just keeps on going and going, like the Energizer Bunny. I love it and can't wait to see him play whenever I can. I only wish Michael was closer so I could get to all of his games! But, he'll be home next weekend for a visit, so I can't wait to see him then! He supposedly has some new artwork to display, and I'll be sharing that with you as well.
My niece, Lauren will be graduating the end of May, and I guess that will be the next big family get together. I'll be sure to keep you updated on all the festivities.
